Packing Accessories

There are a few ways to make packing easier, as well as getting more things to fit into your suitcase.

Of course it’s also good to be prepared for carry on rules for toiletry items and other liquids and it is definitely a good idea to make sure you don’t go over the weight limit.

We’ve got you covered for all of those reasons.

  1. I need that universal travel adaptor. The one I’ve been using is so bulky and falls off the socket when I use it, preventing me from charging my phone properly because I have to sit next to it and hold it down (you really shouldn’t do that I feel). I love this post, I’m so keeping all your suggestions in mind 🙂

    1. I think you’re right there, you shouldn’t have to hold down your adaptor to charge your phone. Sounds like you’re definitely in the market for a new one.

You could also bookmark the page for future reference. Thanks for stopping by.

  2. Packing things for a trip is somewhat hard for me because I always pack for 4. I saw a video that showed rolling your clothes can save space. I don’t usually do that for shirts because of too much creasing. The Acrodo space Saver can help me with packing as it increases 300% of the storage space. That’s a lovely thing for housewives!

Another one that caught my attention is the Bagail packing Cubes. I love being organize, so why not do it in a posh style? Lastly, I think every family should have a hanging digital scale like Etekcity. You can’t just estimate the weight of your luggage and it’s gonna be a big hassle for paying excess or over baggage. Thanks for sharing!

    1. Yes, I agree, the rolling doesn’t necessarily help with keeping your clothing neat and tidy. There is also the option of using a quality garment bag to keep your clothing crease free. Luxury Garment Bag

i like to be organised as well and the packing cubes are awesome as you can use them for around the house. I use them in my robe for all sorts of things, such as belts and socks etc.

  3. I love the packing organizers. I like the fact that it helps me save some space in the suitcase and keep my stuff separate and easy to find. I find out that every time I travel with packing organizers, I am more stress free, because I can keep track of my stuff easily.

What I really need to add is a digital hanging luggage scale, because when I travel I tend to buy some new stuff here and there but they end up being an additional weight that I do not always plan for. So, a scale can help me keep my weight in check on my flight back especially.

These are cool and very helpful accessories you have listed here.

    Thanks for sharing

    1. You are welcome. Those are exactly the reasons I have a luggage scale. It’s so tiny and light that it’s easy to carry with you and avoid extra charges from overpacking.

  4. One item that caught my attention was the airplane footrest. The most uncomfortable issue I always encounter when on a long flight was the positioning of my legs. Put them up, down, sideways, still restless. Since you have mentioned that it provides lower back support too, I am sure it is worth buying. I will check it out in a bit.

    Thank you,

    Sharon

    1. When I did my research for the article I was surprised to find something like that as I hadn’t heard of it before. It sure sounds amazing for a comfortable trip.

  5. Thanks for the extremely helpful article on thirteen essentials for International Travel.
I liked Space Saver compression bags and Airplane footrest. These two items are new to me and I would love to purchase them. They are even useful for domestic travel as well.
The neck wallet with RFID shielding is also appealing accessory as it manages all the travel documents with safety. I have kept a print of this list for my travel reference.

    1. Those things are just so handy where ever you go. The space saver bags are great for storage at home also. Really a good investment.

  6. Thank you for the information on how to pack for traveling, The different sizes of bags and the different kings of bags to pack things in, like the laundry bag to put your worn clothes in. The shoe bag is nice as well so you don’t get dust and dirt from your shoes n your clean clothes.

The different size toiletriy bag to pack those items as well.

I like the bcozzy pillow, it looks really comfortable more so then the original neck pillow, I like the fact that iit comes in different sizes and they have a child size too. and the different colors and patterns too.

    1. You are welcome. I like the neck pillow too, as I always have trouble with the ‘normal’ ones, they just don’t stay in place and aren’t too comfortable. Great design from Bcozzy!

  7. If I’m going alone on a trip I could certainly use the Space Saver Travel Bags as I tend to do the opposite of saving space!. Unless I’m going with my sister – I’m sure she can compress the space as much as these Travel Bags!

Well I’ve never traveled to Canada or US but certainly it won’t hurt to have some TSA Compatible Travel Locks. No need to wait at the last minute to get them, especially if your business involves travelling frequently.

I can tell you the Chin Supporting Travel Pillow looks so funny I just want to give it a try sometime! I saw the video too it looks cool. I guess (from the video) I can use it in other places apart from airports (for example trains and buses.

The Airplane Footrest looks useful since you mention that it reduces lower back pains and stiffness. I wonder if there is one for buses too!

And finally, as for the Power Adapter, it can be useful on long trips where the cell phone battery might run out. If you play some power hungry games while on plane, you can certainly make use of it!.

Thanks for this interesting read. Don’t forget my thumbs up for the Chin Supporting Travel Pillow!

    Have a nice day.

    1. Thanks for your feedback on those items!

I also think the space saver bags are great. It makes packing quite easy and quick too.

Many luggage manufacturers have TSA compatible locks nowadays, but if you’re in the market for new luggage or locks it does make sense to get those.

The Bcozzy pillow can be used anywhere really, even at home to get more comfortable!

The same goes for the airplane footrest, you can use it anywhere where you have something to fix it too, so on a bus should work! Might not be necessary for short trips though…

The power adapter, especially the universal one is definitely a handy thing to have, especially if you’re traveling frequently.

      Thanks for stopping by.
