Packing List For A Beach Vacation – Everything You Need For A Perfect Beach Holiday
Although summer is over in the Northern Hemisphere, there’s still a lot of sunshine and beautiful weather to be had in other places all around the world. In my books it’s always a great time for a holiday by the sea, so here’s your packing list for a beach vacation.
I usually try and pack lightly for a beach holiday as I don’t really want to carry to many things around with me.

Beach Vacation Essentials
These are the things you’ll definitely need every day when going to the beach:
- Sunscreen
- Hat/Cap
- Sunglasses
- Swim wear – take two pairs to be able to change into a dry pair after swimming
- Flip flops, sandals
- Lip balm with sunscreen
- Disinfectant/disposable wipes
- Beach bag
- Waterproof covers/bags for your phone/tablets
- Water Shoes
- Beach Towel
- Water Bottle
- Book/Kindle
- Sarong
Clothing For Beach Vacation
Apart from all of the essentials you’ll need for your day at the beach listed above, you’ll need a few other items (for example to change into when you’re done with the beach for the day).
I know you don’t think you need much else, but you might want to do other things apart from just lazing in the sun all day every day.

- Sneakers/Runners or other comfortable footwear
- Hat/Cap

Toiletries For Beach Vacation
These are the things you’ll need for your skin and hair care at the beach and afterwards:
- Sunscreen
- Lipbalm with sunscreen
- Moisturiser Spray for your skin
- Aloe Vera spray or gel for after sun care
- Moisturiser spray for your hair
- Insect repellent (depending on where you’re vacationing)
- Toothpaste and brush
- Shampoo/Conditioner/Showergel
- Hair products
- Make up
Toys For Beach Vacation
Toys and games are not just for kids, there are so many things you can do at the beach, such as playing volleyball or going snorkeling or building a big sandcastle.
- Sand toys/Bucket/Spade
- Snorkel gear
- Boogie board/Surfboard

- Floaties and swim aids
- Skim Ball (A ball that skims over the water)
